Fished the super high tide and got back in places that I have not fished since June. But someone forgot to email or text the fish to be there. Had a few follows and a few hits but for the most part it was like fishing the dead sea. I did however have on board, two of the finest casters with a spinning rod and reel. These guys really worked hard to place the baits in all the great spots. Non-stop casting and they also delivered some amazing casts.
Water temps are down to 75 and that maybe why the pesky LGMouth have left the shallows. Even the Potomac Pike seemed slow to react. So this concludes my backwater trips in Indian Head and I move down south for the entire month of Sept. Capt Mike
