Default Pics of fish my Boys recently caught

Just wanted to share some pics of the fish my 2 boys have been catching. Cant tell ya hopw proud I am of them and how far they have come in bass fishing. I've had them throwing baitcasters since they where 8. Yes it cost me a arm and a leg in line but what the hell thats what its all about. Everyone better look out cause when they hit the tourney scene folks are gonna be in trouble.

99.9% of the time its catch and release. On that particular day we went to a local lake that really does need some weeding out of some of the smaller fish. WAY to many small fish for a lake that used to give up 6lb + fish on just about every outting. Any way that was one of those days when I loaded the boat up I told the kids "Dont expect to many fish today with the weather being this foul. Well they turned a miserable wet day into a fantastic day of fishing. That was one of the days I posted about that the bilge was running almost constantly. It also was the day the little guy in the pics put it on my a@@ with ......you guessed it Berkley Gulp. He was insitent on fishing it so I gave him the bags of gulp. Needless to say I shouldnt have but nevertheless I couldnt have made a better desicion. My little guy SPANKED MY *** and I was SO PROUD of it. Hope he does it everytime out.

That is totally awesome! Thanks for sharing. I see you're making great memories and those are priceless. I get just as much satifaction and joy when my daughter outfishes me and she usually does most of the time. So until she discovers boys and God forbid becomes a mall rat, I will cherish every outing with. Besides, I need to keep an eye out on my (her) curado. hee!

By the way I did forget to mention that the bigger fella,my older son, caught those slab crappie on a PNJ. 3/8oz wareagle jig using a gene larew salty craw as a trailer. Jig color was watermelon pepper with a watermelon pepper craw. He ended up catching three of those tasty critters.

betur,
I always tell myself to use more jigs during the year, then forget about it after being caught up in tubes and creature type baits, it must be a mindset of sorts, heck all the old timers use the pnj all season.
