Virginia Beach/Back bay Bass fishing

Background on me: I fished Back bay my entire youth fishing life (12-20).

What, to throw in what depth of water, what temp. and what time of the year is it, are more important than knowing "spots".

If your primarily good with soft plastics, (you can fish a trick worm or Shad all spring / summer / fall) in 2-6 foot of water.

The trick is to understand where they are at the current time of year. Like right now they are primarily up near the reeds and under fallen trees, but later on this summer they will probably be under deep cover (Trees and reeds will still produce but weed beds and lilly's will produce much better larger fish.)

Sadly I can't give you any more insight, as it took me 5 years of constant fishing to start to understand the patterns of the fish and how weather effected them.

In short, 3dkicker is 100% right, I was just trying to give you a more detailed idea of where to start in back bay.
