Love Bites- Def Leppard

As funny as alot of you think it would be, I'd love to hit the Poison/Def Leppard/Cheap Trick concert.
Saw Cheap Trick when i was 17. I was the guy laying on the ground asking passersby if they had a light lol. Saw Poison open for Ratt about the same time. Haven't really been a fan of Ratt ever since

Myself playing guitar. I don't do this enough, apparently...my fingers are killing me, and it's only been 30-40 minutes....

Mine just won't do what I want them to do. Bend a string and it slides underneath and mutes, or I just miss the string all together. I finally get on a roll and then I forget what part comes next. Been trying to play for two years now and still can't play worth spit. lol

It's like for me any time I pick one up lately , kinda makes me frown at all the time I spent when I was younger getting my finger tips used to the strings , and at this point it has been about two years since i have picked a guitar up way to long .

Yeah, I'd gotten to where I could play all day and not feel it. But last night on my acoustic, after half an hour, I was just about ready to put it down. But I need to get my callouses back, so I suffered through for a while to make my fingers adjust to it.

Holy crap, I bet that thing sounds like silk. I'd love to have something like that, an old Guild, Martin, Gibson, you know, something with some soul in it. Mine is a Crafter I just happened to find in a music store here in town years ago. It's a concert size, so the body is about 3/4 regular size. It was priced right, sounds great, and has good Fishman electronics. And it will not go out of tune. It was in the case for several weeks until last night, and I didn't have to touch the tuners at all.

Sweet man , I don't play the 12 all that often because I got little hands and it's kinda hard to stretch the neck .

i love my 12.

i've got a yamaha FG 410-12 i think.

I havent tuned it in two years. I use Ernie Ball custom strings, and they last longer.
I play guitar daily, comming up with meoldies, but i never can get any words out
i also have my first guitar, which i lent to anthony to play. a First Act 6 string, and my electic is in my lap. Cort G200. I love playing guitar. its funn once you get your fingertips back nice and hard.

I started when i was 8 or so, playing on a mini guitar, then i got the first act when i was 10, then played that for a few years, and got this electric, then i kind inherited the 12 from my guitar teacher/fellow player.. i knew what she knew, so she gave me free lessons on small stuff

i'm currently playing A Grown Woman- Jason Aldean. pretty easy if any of you wanna try it.

its Capo 1, F then the quick chord is Am then the next is A#
F Am A#
e--1-------1-----------|
b--1---1---3-----------|
g--2---2---3-----------|
d--3---2---3--------3--|
a--3-------1---1h3-----|
e--1-------1-----------|

pretty easy.

I tend to lean more towards the fast and heavy stuff when I play , and in my eyes no guitar comes close to a fender stratocaster , I had one years back and ended up selling it for some quick cash it was a big mistake , I still regret it .

Got one of those, too. American Standard, sunburst, white pickguard, maple neck. They say that out of every 10 electric guitars sold in America, 7 are Strats.

From wiki....

Quote:
Hendrix used right-handed guitars, turned upside-down for left-hand playing, and re-strung so that the heavier strings were in their standard position at the top of the neck. This had an important effect on his guitar sound: because of the slant of the Strat's bridge pickup, his lowest string had a bright sound while his highest string had a mellow sound, the opposite of the Stratocaster's intended design.
