Stand up and speak? What am I doing?


In the state of Alabama I had a choice between Loretta Nall (L), Bob Riley(R) and Lucy Baxley(D).

Nall was a gimmick candidate running on the topics of prison reform, mary jane, and showing her boobs if she won (seriously), Bob Riley and Baxley were typical Bama politicians that were glossy, said the same things (what the Christian-Baptist Right in the state of AL wanted to hear) and other than that, I really couldn't think of anyone in state besides myself who I would want as governor.

And while writing my name is tempting, does it really do anything? 1 guy would see it, add it to the count...then the action would be forgotten forever. Wheras by posting here, from the comfort of my home, I have sent my opinions out to all yall. What is more effective?

I think the boobs might have been some what worth it. I'll joke with this subject. I am not going to argue politics w/ A. a political science major or B. some one who was old enough to vote for Truman. You have your convictions and stand by them. For that I will not argue. I believe voting is a privilege(sp?) and I fought for that.
