Have heard nothing but good stuff about P-Line. Got a spool of their flourocarbon to try.

For god's sake don't buy Fireline unless your building a fence, bridge or are stuck in a ditch. 10 12 lb P-Line premium... little stretchy, buy I like it. Jolly

I know that the majority of you prefer P-Line in one form or another, but, if your are willing to try something new, you might want to give McCoy Mean Green co-polymer a try. Super strong with not much memory. A guide turned me on to this stuff and I have been using it since. www.mccoyfishingline.com |

Welcome to the forum, bassfan! Flyrod and I are hitting the lake tomorrow. I'll be throwing P-line CXX, Trilene Max, and I think fluoroclear. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for all the input!

Bob, for size I'd say Fork which is east fo Dallas, Alan Henry which is up in the panhandle near Lubbock, and Amistad which is west of San Antonio. For numbers I'd say Ray Roberts up north of Ft. Worth, Choke Canyon, which is my favorite lake, and a little powerplant lake east of Austin called Lake Bastrop. It has a slot limit, so there are good numbers since if they fall within the slot length they have to be returned to the water. There are a bunch of others, but a lot of them I haven't fished.

Well guys, tried the Berkley Maxx, P-Line CXX, and Flyrod also spooled up a reel with P-Line Flurorclear. I liked the Fluoroclear the best.
