nah reb as old as lizzy is come on dude sponge bob was not even thought of back then. neither was the eletric starter on cars for that matter..
you might catch 10 pounders but can't drive a boat for nothing.. ok now you mentioned roach fish and skeeter fish. what do these lil beggers look like?? a bass will eat anything that he can get in his mouth.. zooker

Anytime!! I've been using it for about a year, seriously since this past May and it's most of what I have learned fishing with it to date. It is always a bit awkward at first to learn a new technique, so just hang in there. The take (when the fish takes the lure) can be very subtle so be mindful. Other times will be more aggressive and you will know.
My jaw dropped wide open when I viewed the picture you posted. It sure looks like an area the drop shot should kick some serious fanny (translated, means should be very effective. You may opt for 8 or 10# fluro, but if there is little cover, go with 6# test. Lighter lines give soft plastics more action and better life AND make it easier to detect strikes from the fish.
