Yum F2 Mighty Bug 3.5 was my go to bait last summer caught over 60 bass on that thing before that i would have to say 7 inch Yum Dinger Chart/Pumpkin

I love zoom baits. For a company that doesn't promote that much they make more quality plastics than just about any other for the price. And i want to try gary yamamotos but I always find other brands cheaper. lol

I think that the cheaper solutions will work most of the time. I know that there are plenty of stick baits (senkos) out there. I own a lot more yum dingers than I do the actual senkos. That being said, there are times when the added weight/salt and differnt reaction will trigger a bite that the others don't.

I am a strong believer in buying cheaper unscented plastics and adding attractant to them. I dont know if its confidence but i'm sure it helps give them an edge. I just sstarted making my own scents so i dont have to buy the bottles for 5-10 bucks for 8 oz.

I like the yamasenkos but after a couple good fights from fish, they're done! I think the better alternative IMO is the "Big bite Bait" senkos.

I also think that zoom makes the best fluke bait in regard to the action.

I'm a fan of berkley powerbait 7" pumpkinseed worms. I just got a bag of yum tubes and they are alot softer than anything else I've seen. Can't wait to try those!

I like using the Zoom swimmin flukes as trailers for my swimjigs. I haven't tried them as an exclusive swimbait with a weighted EWG screw-in hook, yet.

7" Berkley power shaky worm in green pumpkin or blue fleck.The next is a 5" kinami DT skirted grub on a football head, 1/4 or 3/8 oz. That is the fish catchinist S.O.B on the planet. Smoke hologram is the ticket in clear water. I have caught a many 5lb smallie on that bait, including my personal best 6lb 10oz hawg a couple weeks ago.

3" - 4" single tail grub (close 2nd choice is 3 1/2" boot tail grub... some people today call these swim baits)

3 " - 4" tube and 4 1/2" Slug-go need to be in my bag as well

I'll try any kind of soft plastic baits once, and usually more than once. Berkely, Zoom, Gulp, Creme - whatever Gander Mtn or Dick's S G puts on their shelves, I'll most likely buy sooner or later. I was just yesterday going through my inventory of soft bait packages. At the rate I'm going, I'll probably have enough soft plastics to open my own speciality shop soon... lol. It's a definite case of Winter bait monkey!

Really It's my understanding that a French Ticker is designed to enhance the pleasure of the receiver , NOT the one wearing it. So I'll just take your word for it and not seek any additional information as I think you already provided too much.

I have liked the Strike King products but they aren't very durable. I started using hand-poured products made with saltwater-formula plastics and they catch just as well and last probably 5 times as long per bait. Also, with custom hand pours you can get exactly the colors and glitters, etc. that you want for less money over the long run.

I use http://JDsCustomBaits.com in South Florida and can recommend them highly.

Now what to do with all the old soft plastics that I don't use anymore. Has anyone donated stuff like this to "Take a Kid Fishing" groups or something?
