| BassFishin.Com Super Veteran | Canoe + After you catch it

Hi all. I have two questions. We are planning to have a canoe by the spring time. What canoe would you buy for under $300? Just for basic calm water (Not rivers or anything). It should be able to hold about 300 lbs. A tandem canoe. What do you do after you catch your first fish? Switch baits and fish the same spot? Thanks- Julien. |

Go with a 16' keeled bottom canoe. Don't know if you will be able to pick one up for under $300 and if you do you still have a lot more money needed to add accessories. Ask away on question about canoes, the guys around here sure liked my Florida Style canoe when I did it up! Christopher |

Christopher would be the one to ask about canoes. In the long run, you will definetly want a fishfinder, and a motor.
