Types of line for flipping
My first thought for a flipping line would be braid for heavy cover. What are some other situations when flipping that might require another type of line?

I use 50 LB Power Pro with 20 LB Floro leader. Join them with uni-to-uni knot. Works good for me.

depends on how heavey the cover is for my line. but braid is the best. no strech and really abrassion resistant gets you out of heavey areas.

i vote for fishing line. It sure beats cable line, street line, check-out line, unemployment line, walkin the line, thin line, line in the sand,
I use Yo-Zuri or PP depending on where i'm flippin. |

When it comes to flipping there's a bunch of lines to choose from. For me, low stretch is paramount. WHether it be mon, Co-polymer, braid, or fluorocarbons ... low stretch is crucial. Now also understand some line ssink bringing yourlures to the lake bottom faster, others not so fast. Keep these two thing sin mind. Also do some research at this spot i found to help you outhttp://www.bass-city.com/browse_articles.asp

Or I might use 30lb Fireline Flipping is hand to hand combat, and it's a reaction type bite IMO, the line has to be tough, and strong, with no strecth for instant hooksets.
