				 | You never know what will work!

I'm amazed at how things change from year to year. This year at my local fishing hole the bass are hitting zoom horney toads like crazy. Last year at this time they were going nuts on rubber craws on standup jig heads The year before that it was Pink worms with curly tails. If I could only get into the head of a bass to know what they are thinking. I guess try everything till you find something that works! |

My prediction, as dictated by this forum and it's past topics, is that NEXT year's big bass lure will be a daisy with a hook through the middle of the flower. Seriously though, I think bass are only hitting the newest things on the market because they've never seen them before, the lure looks injured, and the bass know they can catch it. I think if you want something that will produce for you on your lake, look at what was big 10 years ago. Most of the fish in your lake haven't seen whatever lure it was (probably a shad-rap) in thier life-time.
