				 | Great Articles

Guys, there were written by Lake Okechobee guide who used to post on another forum. They are some of the most informative articles I've ever read. Thought y'all might enjoy them: http://sky.prohosting.com/sah1/Ranger_Rob/index.html

Man, it's been a long time since I've heard from Ranger Rob. Back BDO, he gave a lot of advice. Matter of fact, some of the pieces on that site were from his posts at BDO. Thanks, Reb. It is a treasure trove.

IB, any idea what happened to him? I heard he was in a bad car wreck, but haven't heard anything in a long time about him or how he is doing.

If I can recall correctly, he did recovered and found a new love in his life. PondSkum said that RR wasn't sure if he'd ever return to bass fishing "online" like we do here. RR could make a book with his knowledge for sure. My best memory of him was when I brought up using a chicken feather on the trebles of poppers. I've dressed my popper trebles with them with great results. Hats off to RR.

That's good to hear, IB. RR is probably the most knowlegable-and willing to share-angler I've ever encountered. I printed most of those articles out and put them in a binder. Very worthwhile reads.
