http://www.visitgreenlake.com/visitgl/ I love ol Green Lake. I can't think of a better fishery. But hey i put more hours as a kid on that lake than most profesional guides did. She is the deepest in land lake in Wisconsin. She is a whopping 237 ft deep in the middle. This makes for some of best lake trout Fishing you have ever done. 30lbers are not uncomon in a week end. 20 are an easy average

I grew up on the salt, and retention ponds. Spent some time on Lake Ida, Okechobee, and Rodman. I love the good ole St. John's River though. She's tough tp crack, but if you learn how to fish her, you can do pretty good.

oHH!!! They have a mandatory 40 inch min. on Muskey. YES they are that big & bigger. Most of these big boy's feed on bass.

Mostly Lake Hudson and Bird Lake, the latter being a great rainbow trout, perch, and bass fishery. It is not uncommon to go here and cath 10 bass a night, a few of them breaking three easy. The other lake I mentioned, Lake Hudson, is an excellent musky fishery with 50" being the legal limit. Great lake with tons of good fish, especially crappie and musky.

I grew up fishing cape cod, my relatives lived near boston and we'd go out flounder fishing in mid summer. After that we walleye fished up at erie till i got the bass fishing bug and the first lake I ever bass fished was lake lakengren here in town, then off to brookville lake in ind.
I didnt catch any bass the first 5 trips to brookville, just a tad more challenging than the farm ponds i was used to.
I do think the more species you learn on helps your bass fishing game in a lot of respects, playing a fish out, knowing the conditions of weather etc.

Liveoak lake, its small and holds alot of big bass. Houses around the lake (it's a private lake). No pressure the bass grow big and theres alot of em.
Fished from the bank and caught some nice fish, and this lake is about 20 acres

Don't try to get in they "banned" even me from coming back !

Luckily when I was a kid my dad took me fishing on the strip mine ponds of eastern Ohio where we lived. I remember mainly using a purple Creme pre-rigged worm but my favorite was a jointed Jitterbug in white and black. There and the pond at my grandma's house, where my great grandma who was ancient at the time spent her days fishing for catfish while sitting in her lawn chair.

I Was 3 Years Old, My Grandpa Had Owned Property On Lake Como. It Is A Small Lake Here In Fl. You Can Only Get On It If You Live On It. I Remember Going Out On His Bass Tracker With A Zebco 33 With A Manns Purple Worm With A Fire Tail. First Cast Caught A 2 Lbs Bass I Was Hooked Every Summer I Make A Special Trip To That Lake. It Was The Beginnning Of The Biggest Part Of My Life.

The Holmdel Park Pond... Great times, I still always go there. My first like 8 times were skunks, but I was determined to catch a fish. and now I am what I am today. I think if i didn't skunk the frist few times, id probably find it too easy and wouldn't have gone through all the research I have done. But yes, that's my story...

My first fish was a bluegill taken from Loomis Lake here in NW Indiana. My first bass was taken from Long Lake very close to Loomis Lake. Both taken with a cane pole and worms. Loomis to this day remains one of my favorite lakes to fish, although it is fairly small. Most folks don't think there is good bass fishin in Loomis, which sets well with me!!!

i have fished table rock since i was old enough to walk so i guess it's the lake that got me started. stockton is a close second but after my last few tourneys at both lakes i don't think either one is very loyal.

As is common in New England, I started at a place called Millvale Resevoir, a shallow 43 acre pond, surrounded by rows and rows of majestic pine trees. Living nearby, Dad and I spent many weekend mornings and weekday evenings, attempting to catch anything from trout, to pickerel and bass.

Eventually my passion for bass took over. I think it had something to do with the difficulties of trying to catch the fish I could see, sunning themselves along the shoreline, but could very rarely catch, as a youth.

Through the years I learned different techniques and highlighted my Millvale experiences about 7 years ago, with a 24" long, 17.5" girth largemouth. On that November day, I was driving by and decided to take a few casts. Although I didn't have a scale, I took a few photos, the measurements, and sent a scale sample to a wildlife biologist friend of mine....he said it was anywhere from 8-9.25 pounds! Released her after the photos. Not bad for a northern strain largemouth, heh?

I grew up at a small private community lake in Kansas. Lake Quivira, back in the 70's. It was thirty feet from my front door, but, no boat and out of the 11 years my dad went fishing once. Pretty much completely self taught when it comes to fishing. Might explain why I'm not very good.

I started on Houghton Lake in Northern MI. Thanks to Grandpa and my dad. From there I grew to love smallmouth fishing the Shiawassee River in Owosso were I grew up. My cousin and I would fish the banks all summer long, every day.

well i remember mountain woods lake in hayden alabama as my first lake. it was a private owned by a family and you could rent a little jon boat with a trolling motor...early to mid 60's. then mostly smith lake and guntersville. that is where i got "hooked".
