Default Teaching kids to use a baitcaster

I just thought of something. If you set a baitcaster up properly like Robbie R. and others here have told, do you think it would be easier to teach a child to use a baitcaster instead of a open faced spinning reel?

The baitcaster would be similar to a spincast (push button) reel. Just teach them to keep their thumb on the line. I don't know. Maybe I am making it sound easier than it likely would be. Maybe I am asking for trouble. But if they were to learn early on, imagine how good they would be when they are older.

Next time I take my daughter out fishing I am going to give her the baitcaster and let her try it. I mean, the worst thing that is going to happen is she backlashes it and that is not hard to fix.
