Used twice by my dad...no cosmetic wear whatsoever

Just a tip, a pvc pive (2-3"diameter) works great for shipping rods. Wraps the tip in newspaper to keep it from moving around in the tube, as well as the bottom. This is how we recieved our G. Loomis we bought on eBay.
