				 | The stupid rig!

We got a pack of Excalibur Hitch hikers to yesterday at dicks; Of those of that don't know what it is, it a clip with a twisty screw on it. note: This rig would be great for bama! You clip it onto a hook and add a trailer to it, pretty neat idea I think. So I looked at the package some more, on the back it said great for jerk baits to! So I looked on the inside of the it and it had a pic of the stupid rig. You take a circle hook, or weedless hook, and clip it onto the back of the hook and the screw the nose of the bait on to the clip. This lets it swing free, giving the bait a lot of action, more so than you would rigging it normally. It said when it was being tested that one guy caught 19 bass in one morning, and 23 red fish in one day. Pretty cool rig if you ask me, thought I'd let you guys know about!

That does sound like a cool rig, but I'd be afraid the clip would slip off the ring. Personally, I don't like spring keepers except these: http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/descpage-OCPSS.html BB
