(Oh, by the way...I have not read Bassmaster. Is that a website or magazine? I have neither read nor seen them before. This is just a happy little coincidence I guess!)
Which bass species have you caught? For simplicity, I have excluded non-Micropterus species like Striped bass, Rock Bass, etc. The scientific names are links to information on the bass species. You should copy the following checklist part of this post into your own post and come back and EDIT your original post (insert an "X") to reflect any change in your status. I have gone ahead and checked my two species. [ ] Micropterus cataractae (Shoal bass) [ ] Micropterus coosae (Redeye bass) [X] Micropterus dolomieu (Smallmouth bass) [ ] Micropterus notius (Suwannee bass) [ ] Micropterus punctulatus (Spotted bass) [X] Micropterus salmoides (Largemouth bass) [ ] Micropterus treculii (Guadaloupe bass) This isn't really a bragging board thing, or I would have put it there. The prupose is not for helping you achieve public glory. What it will help with is if you want to catch a particular species, you will be able to find out who has actually caught one, and ask them where they caught it (if they'll tell you ![]() ![]() ![]() Personally, I plan on catching every species of bass and trout(another forum perhaps!) in North America before I grow too old to hold a rod and reel.
