Hydraulic steering
I bought a 97 hyrdrasport ls205 and it has hydraulic steering, however, the steering was no workin right and was sounding like it had no fluid. I ordered some but do not know how to put it in. Any help would be appreciated.

On the steering column a little screw cap. Seastar units that is where it is..
Only use Seastar fluid or you will be sorry. Also if it is Seastar unit be carefull not to turn wheel while filling or it will shoot out in your eye and every where. Capt Mike

do you mean the steering piece behind the column. The metal piece. I am not looking at it right now but are you saying there should be a plug on it?

As you sit normal behind the wheel, look just behind the steering wheel. It will be a small cap to unscrew..This unit does not hold alot so put something down in case of overflow..Good luck and check for leaks in the system because no fluid under power is very dangerous..
