It was Bayliner's first forey into bass boats. It is not a great boat from what I have heard. They came with a Force outboard originally. Check the seats as the original ones where made of fiberboard. Capt Mike

Most likely will not be able to find it. It was a short run of boats made at the Bayliner factory and sold for lot less than most bass boats at the time. The force motor is a good motor, made mostly by Merc with the only issue known as being the stator going bad. It is your boat...enjoy it cheerish it and someday you will buy another.. Capt Mike

dr fever in this case the boat builder no longer is around. the baylliner name is old and has swapped ownership a 1/2 dozen times since the 70's.. to actually find an owners manual on it is like finding a needle in the old hay stack.. what kind of renevations you plan on doing?? there is a member here with a quantum but he aint posted in 3+ years.. i've messed with enough old boats to know the "pointy end" from the "square end"...lol... zooker

i initially was planning on selling next year for something i really want. like a tracker or something flat bottom (little more practical for jersey lakes) however i decided to make a project out of it. i need to rewire the thing cause the trolling motor and fish finder are not stock so the wires stop in a front compartment. takes up alot of storage space. i want to replace the decking with something a little more form fitting. the wood is starting to warp a little bit. also want/need to replace livewell. my consle needs some work, depth finder doesnt work, tachmeter comes out. probably just a quick update. i broke my pitot the other day tying down my hull lol. new paint job and trailer needs a few tweeks as well. i know it souunds like alot but its more because i want to not because it needs it.

as far as the deck goes i want to make something similar to todays bass boat as far as hatches and just its overall look and feel. it seems that there are compartments everywhere on new boats. i cant add more storage i just want it to look good.
