Smallmouth action on the river
Before I caught these two beauties, I caught a pike that was probably about 10 pounds. Oddly enough though I caught him on the Slurpee worm I had wacky rigged. He shook off though as I was fumbling for my camera.
I broke a pole too. Nothing special, a berkley cherrywood. My first cast went right into a tree and what I thought would be a simple retrieval turned into a mess. But now I have a reason to go add another pole to the 9474854 poles I already have. haha |
