Couple of New Ones- Yellow Perch and Spottail Shiner
I had a chance to try a couple of new colors recently. These two were pretty difficult for me, but after looking at them on google images here's what I came up with. Let me know what you guys think.

I'll tell you what I think. They are awsome pal!!! You really do a great job. Makes most crankbaits look ill compared to yours.

That Little John is sweet. Very, very nice job.
Why is the spot on the tail and not next to the gill??? |

Duh!!! Sorry I didn't pay attention to the Spottail Shiner that was written right over the picture.....my eyes were immediately drawn to the pictures.
Thanks for the picture. Brings up a point that a bait rep that I met over the winter said about the spot on crankbaits not being near the gill plate. He said that if it wasn't up front the bass wouldn't target the head and the bass would short strike or you'll get a lot of short strikes (not my opinion but his). I wonder if there will be a lot of fish caught on the rear hook of these baits??? MD - you ever play around with the goldfish pattern??? Last edited by 3dkicker; 05-02-11 at 04:16 PM. |

Thanks again guys!
3D, not just yet. I'm about to have a little extra time on my hands though. I seriously will in the next 2-3 weeks, along with CamG's craw. The goldfish shouldn't be too bad since they're only a few different colors. If you'd like, you can post a clear side shot picture of a goldfish you'd like it done close to. |

I'll have to find one. The goldfish on the river don't look like the ones you find in fish tanks. Much darker orange with some have brown on their backs.
