Free Tubes and Grubs...
I have a bag mini salted tubes, I bought them last year and never really used them. I put them in an unlabeled worm bag so I can't remember who made them, but they are completely fresh. There are black/w chart tail, clear/red flake/w chat tail, and green/w chart tail. I can't count them in the bag, but there appear to be between 20-30 in there. I think I used one of each.
I also have a pack of Mister Twister 2" Teenie Tail grubs. They in the Luminescent color. There are 9 left out of a 20 pack. They are also very fresh, I just split them with a friend when I bought them. Fist come first serve. Shipping is on me

Great jesture for sure!
But, what I would do is hand them to some kid at the ponds you fish and show them how to rig and use them! |

The point that Cam made was valid. However, I have learned from experience that giving things away around here is like giving food to a stray cat. If I fished in more places that I didn't frequent I might do it, but I am limited in my range and thus I do not wish to incur the hassle of giving free lures to the kids here. I get pestered enough for free stuff from kids I have never given anything to to want to go inviting it. I am not a thoughtless person, and I gave this all due consideration before I posted it here. Please respect my decision in this and if you have no interest then please just move on. Denigrating someone for taking advantage of a free offer is rude, and condescending. Sam did nothing wrong by asking for these lures, and I will happily send them to him. Thanks, John

No drama. I was just tired and in a bad mood and just thought that you might have jumped the gun a bit. I didn't realize that John already considered Cams idea and with that in mind I thought he should have the chance to change his plans before someone took him up on his offer. It wasn't my place to say anything and if I was in a better frame of mind I wouldn't have said anything. I am sorry for the bad judgement on my part.

Many years ago I made and sold tube tail jigs with a twister like tail in1/6 oz. I had to go out of business, after being slightly successful. I think the problem was that every tackle store I went into to sell if their were Kids in there I gve them away. I still give them away to fishing buddies who help me pour the jigs, but the lakes that I go to are private and I don't run across that many people and very few Kids. I still sometimes give them away to people I meet at tackle stores. By the way my jigs came with the guarntee that if U didn't catch fish on them come and find me take me to where U wern't catching fish and I would give U a private lesson on how to catch fish on them.
I have caught Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, Wipers, Perch, Walleye, and bigest fish was a 25 lb Flathead Cat on 2 lb test line and a 5 ft ultralite rod, took an hour to land him. Good luck fishing and God Bless |
