Zout is your friend...

Yesterday after work, I only had about an hour before the sun went down, so instead of going home, I stopped by the local lake to drop shot a little.

There were a couple guys who were getting ready to launch for some night fishing. We were talking fish, and they good-naturedly ribbed me about having a pair of slacks and a nice white shirt on. I told them "it's no problem, I do it all the time."

Well, what do you know, but the DNR shows up (what is it with those guys?!?!), and as the officer comes up to check my license, I hook a small bass. While attempting to unhook the little guy, he manages to extricate himself from my grasp, and shakes blood all over the front of my shirt.

After you get done laughing at my dumb arse....

Buy some "Zout". It rocks. I followed the instructions, and no stain on the shirt. I've never found anything else that worked that well for blood. Thumbs up.

I think I will start keeping a T-shirt in my truck from now on, in case I get the urge to fish on the spur of the moment.
