Excited about tomorrow.
A few of you already know what Britney and I have up our sleeves for tomorrow but please don't spill the beans yet. I will post about it when we get home but in the mean time just know that what we are about to do tomorrow is truly an honor for both of us.

Ok we are back home now so I will tell everyone what a great day we had. We headed north today to Kansas City and met Pro reels grandson Easton. It was such an honor that Kevin invited us up, how could we pass that up? We got up there around 11:30 this morning and Kevins daughter Brittney took my wife Britney right back to meet the little fella while Kevin and I talked about fishing in the waiting room with Kevins wife Charlene and Brittneys boyfriend Kyle. When the Brits finally came out of Eastons room it was my turn to go back and introduce myself to the little fighter. Fellas I don't mind telling you that Britney and I just fell in love with baby Easton. He is such a cute little guy that is all heart (I know the irony in that statement considering his heart issues). Kevin took me back to Eastons room where we both stood in awe of a living miracle for the longest time. We talked about a lot of things in that room. We talked about fishing, we talked about Gods mysterous ways, and we talked about how good of a guy Brittney found in Kyle. It was a great moment to be there and witness a proud Paw Paw loving on such a strong little baby, it was a moment that I hope I never forget because we all need to witness miracles once in a while to help us keep things in perspective. After Easton and I got to know each other (as well as you can get aquanited with a sleeping baby) we all headed out for a little fun. We all headed to the Legends mall where we ate at Dave and Busters and then walked around and did some shopping. After we parted ways Britney and I talked for 3 hours straight about how awesome Easton is and how great God is. It was a day that I am thankful for and will never forget. Kevin, Charlene, Brittney, and Kyle are outstanding people and I know that Easton could not possibly ask for a better more loving family. I am honored to call them friends (even if they are Jayhawk fans).

Kory that is awesome. I know you and Britney had a great day. Easton is an amazing child and so glad you got to meet him and his wonderful family.

Dang, there ya go making me reach for the tissues again. You seem to have a way of doing that. It was an honor for us that 2 very great people, that are more than friends, drove over 2 hours to come spend the day with us. Brittney and Kyle were discussing things after you guys left and they decided that when Easton is well enough, which may be quite some time, that they want to drive to carthage and meet your Son and and spend the day with you guys there.

I can only imagine the day you had and how it must have felt to spend time with Easton and the family. That was an honer, and a humbling one. God is great!
