Jeez........looks like something you'd see out of Texas or one of those Fla lakes after a sinkhole..............is this common? drawdown? drought? of course if there's any left in that little hole right in front, they should be vulnerable to a fluke! or an M-80

Man that sucks. How deep is the water under the dock normally?

OK Ron.. I see a great opportunity to locate and document lake structure and cover with the water level down. This would be the time to locate all of those brushpiles and humps and spawning flats that you were unaware of. Then when Spring arrives and the water level rises, you have new spots to investigate.

If the water stays down long enough to dry out the exposed ground between you and the water, it would be an excellent time to get an excavater out there to scoop out a big channel from the dock to the water? And before it fills up drop a few dozen Christmas trees down in it?

Normal for a draw down lake, they do that for a reason to be able to catch spring runoff to keep flooding to a low level.
Another reason why homes on the main and deeper water are more valuable,as have water year round. Many in shallow bays on ky lake have a wonder full mud flat to look at all winter. Its drawn down 5 ft every year. |

Sure would be a good time to set out some rocks and brush piles.
