My wife Louann
I gotta brag on Louann for a second. She just got home from running her first 5k race in only 34 minutes, 5 seconds. For her first one ever, that's not bad at all. Then figure in the fact that she just lost 80 pounds, and you can see why I'm so proud of her. Good job, baby!

I have been somewhat following her weight loss on facebook since she started, and have been impressed. Just seen on facebook where she ran the 5K today and am really happy for her. Tell her I said congratulations on both counts.

Congrats to Louann. I'm guessing she gets a lot of practice for those events by running away from you. I'm also impressed by the weight loss, that is quite an accomplishment but if you're cooking then it's understandable. OK, I'm done poking you, I'm also attempting to drop some weight and it's not easy. Knowing how difficult loosing weight can be, gives me more appreciation for her success. Great job, Louann!!

Dang! 80# is a lot. I lost 70 one time (quit drinking), but have gained 15 of it back. It's not very easy and I think that it is 2x more difficult for women to lose weight. I bet she looks and feels great.
