Made the first cast this morning 30 min before official sunrise. 1/8 oz SK Bitsy Bug out past a gnarly tackle eating brushpile in 18-20 ft of water. Steady light rain falling, zero wind. Set the rod down as soon as the jig hit the water (rarely get a deadstick hit on a jig

Ken, I'm glad for you that your deadstick incident worked out in your favor and you had a successful day of fishing.
I got to say though, if peeing on yourself was the worst thing that happened, you must be living right. Because as you well know, the outcome could have been a whole heck of a lot more, not in your favor. -Mark |

Thats a good day of fishin for sure! But the best part was not loosing your outfit. That seems to be an issue a lot around here the past year! Dead sticking a jig? Gonna have to try that. Maybe you discovered something. lol My younger brither once caught a fish on a jig that was used suspended deadsticking with a bobber.
