Just looking at the list of recent petitions kind of puts a sick feeling in my stomach. Where is our country heading?

I think there's still time for our current government to fix this situation, but there's going to have to be compromise from every citizen and institution in the U.S.

It happened after the 2004 and 2008 election. Don't worry, the news has found a story that grabs the publics attention, so they will run with it.

The people who are signing those petitions are only signing up for a lifetime of IRS tax audits and other forms of harassment.

Just looking at the list of recent petitions kind of puts a sick feeling in my stomach. Where is our country heading?

Keep in mind that these petitions are signed (many without a last name) by a tiny fraction of the population and the overwhelming majority of people, from the right wing to the left wing and everywhere in between, wants to keep the country intact, despite huge differences on how to move ahead.
