Update on Nancy
About a year ago, I came to all of you to ask you to pray for Nancy, a very dear friend of ours who was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer. Many of you sent many well wishes which I in turn gave to Nancy, and I can't tell you how much she appreciated it. She went through a double mastectomy and the chemo treatments and radiation and all that's involved with fighting cancer. Well, with this being the time of year we give Thanks, I wanted to thank you again for your prayers for Nancy, and let you know she is doing very well. Her hair is starting to return and she has regained much of her strength. It was very rough going for her, but she kept her spirits high. Her strong faith in God definitely showed though all of her struggles, and she kept a positive attitude through it all. Today, she is back to work and functioning normally. Her daughter is in her first year of college at Indiana University, and her son who has already graduated from college is engaged to be married. Praise God he chose to keep Nancy with us so she could continue to see her children grow into adulthood and enjoy all the things life has in store for her and her family. Thanks again everyone. Glad to hear the good news. My sister and cousin went through the same thing and after all the rough stuff during treatment are now leading active, productive lives, just like Nancy.
