Lol, found some of these while in Big lots the other day, 4 for a dollar. Couldn't pass it up to own such a reknown prestegious lure. Maybe I'll catch a fish on it one day.

that ain't fair! my store didn't have no stinking spinners, just the helicoptors. At least it isn't an oddball color. I think I can catch fish with it, we'll see.

they used to have those info mercials on the helicopter lure, I think what fishermen started to realize is the tube will fall in a similar fashion and was worthy of using , rather than get laughed at lol I tried them an they kinda caught fish |

I still don't know if I would have bought any, even if they were 10 for a dollar. I got sucked into one of those deals once while at Wally World. They had the Triple Strike crankbaits on clearance for 5 bucks and I bought a pack. Haven't even had a strike on one yet. When I used them I thought I heard the bass laughing at it, but I wasn't sure.

I got a package at a fishing show for free as part of my "goody bag". I lost most of the rigs and such, but while I had them, i caught a few bass. I think one of the bass was pretty big, if i am remembering correctly. Nice find

Now that is a bait monkey i can do without, even if they are only 4 for a dollar. You going to store those next to the flying lures?

I foolishly bought the banjo minnow set, when I first started bass fishing. $40 and not a single fish. Did get a few bites though.

I feel for you I bought both the banjo minnos and the helicopter lures. The minnows were the biggest letdown of my plastic lure fishing career. Ahhh then I met the helicopter lure just as I was starting to get back into plastics. Ouch, let me just say dont use braided line with them...lost about 200 yards of good line to them and not a single fish to show for it. As far as I am concerned PowerBass is right on the money!
