Here's my G'ville report....I'm pi$$ed off. Thats the report. The fish might be biting, wouldn't know. Got to BB Comer bridge in scottsboro this morning, before even first light - nobody else at the ramp - it was setting up perfect. Switch on my running lights to get a little more light to put the boat in, and notice that the all around white is burning orange. Fiddle with the connection, no dice - I figure the bulb is going. Get in the truck to back in, and notice my running lights getting dim, dimer, almost burnt out. Yep, thats right, went all the way to the lake and the battery is dead. It was perfect when I took it off the charger 2 days ago, but I shouldn't have hooked up the terminals in the boat - somewhere the juice had to have seeped out.
So now its 6:25 in the morning, I'm waiting on my Mom to wake up - when she does she'll be excited and happy to hear my battery died - part of the reason for going fishing was to avoid painting her bedroom. And after that I get the priviledge and honor of cutting the grass, washing the car, cleaning the house and getting ready to go back to tuscaloosa.

I didn't even bother to put the boat in, so I just threw a few half-hearted casts into the lake to cover the ramp. Maybe, just maybe I will get a second chance to wipe this day off the books tomorrow, but right now the battery is on the charger around the number 12. In other words, the battery is as dead as Fred Durst's career.
