Anyone know what the current condition of lake Okeechobee is? I heard that there was a big fish kill b/c of the 'canes, but I don't know whats up with that. Is bass fishing still any good, or has it recovered at all since then?

Haven't been down there since about a year ago. It wasn't great then, and I haven't heard anything good about it either.

I haven't heard anything recently, but plenty of negative stuff in the past. Figured if things turned around I'd hear a thing or two about it, but nothing yet. All I've heard is if ya find the clearer water, you've found the bass.
