Here they are still spawning I've been really successful with black w/ red/green flake tubes. I've been more successful using a 4'' salamander black and blue with a standing hook casting past the bed and reeling towards it. Another thing I've heard but havn't really tried that much yet is using crawdads. I've thrown some in before but not in spawn season. During my spawning season I really havn't had any luck at all with spinners, swimbaits, or jerkbaits. Had some luck with buzzbaits though mostly white. but all depends on what body of water and where.

I picked up a new bait the other day called a Grande Bass "Rattlesnake", similar to a Senko but its ringed. Looks really good, gonna give it a go on Sunday. Unfortunatly, the spawn is pretty much over around here, still a few stragglers though.
