Dodgeguy...what you said about line stretch tests has got me curious. I'm gonna do a lowtech test i think. Maybe tie something of the same weight (heavy) to a piece of flouro and mono of the same length and see which stretches the most. This may not work, but it can't hurt.

Zooker - I've spent years fine tuning that color pattern and I've found that if you see those colors you get quality. I still need to spend some time this summer working on the skin/material ratio to back up your findings!
 But I suspect that you are correct.
