Loading the boat up now for a weekend on Okeechobee... It's going to be nice to get away for a couple of days.

We've made it home. Not many fish to speak of. No gator bites, either. But we had good weather and the kayaking around the different lakes was a lot of fun. Saw a lot of wildlife - ON THE WATER - and I always enjoy that. Doc is alive and well?, I just couldn't find a gator to take his untasty body off my hands - I didn't think a gator was that picky..................

Sounds like you had a good time at least.
I'd give anything to be out kayaking right now. Maybe I can get a snowmobiler to pull me across a lake....

Well, I guess that is the other side of fishing florida in january. Yes, its warmer. But to those bass, its still friggin january.
Spawn starts before long, but not quite yet.
