That has got to be one of those novelty plugs you hang on the wall of the man-cave. There is an old saying in the mechanics world..."tights tight too tights broke" or......."bigs big too big is........?"

LOL, Nope, the real thing, designed and built by the Japanese master swimbait maker Ando Yoshihiko. Want to see some funny a$$ baits, you should look him up.

There are guys catching big fish outside Cali on big swimbaits. There is a guy on another board who seems to have it figured it in the southeast area. He's been in some articles and I think even DVDs and he's a young guy. His success seems ridiculous, I just saw some picks of him with huge smallies over the course of 3 days and a huge largemouth. And it snowed where he was in NC. so big bass in cold weather outside Cali on big swimbaits

Not sure if this is AYGun is talking about...
http://www.southerntrouteaters.com/S...ters/Home.html guys are using big swimbaits all over the country to hook the big ones. it's all about adapting the technique to your locale, and swimbait manufacturers are coming out with offerings that fit these styles and locales more and more. |

I'm not advertising for that board, just a link, to show you what I mean, if you can figure out how to search for br200/400 on there you will find other stuff. And I think they were in that DVD, and once saw a link to some website bout one of them talkin bout big swimbaits in the south, it was done for a magazine I'm pretty sure, but i read it online

Yea...there's only two things that I can think of that will run me off the water....close lightning or hail stones as big as softballs.

I do have confidence in these. I fish them for Pike and Muskies all the time and I pick up more Largemouth bass then Pike or Muskies and I dont fish S Cali or Texas where the real monsters lurk. I fish N. Idaho where our state record is only 11 pounds and it was caught 60 some years ago. Yes you can catch fish on these and I throw the biggest one they make (about 9" long) in a perch color that I painted myself.
Here is a shot of it; I get bass from 3 to 7 lbs on these. You won't get as many fish using one of these but you don't catch any little ones either. I also love the S-Waver in this same color in the 6 3/4" size. Here is one of them I painted. This has produced more big fish for me then an other hard swimbait. Here are a couple of the fish I got on them.

...and cheaper, more durable, and readily available than some of those other hard baits out there.(@F&N, nice fish, nice work, mind me asking what paint do you use, and do you use a protective coating?)
