ebbits.......you are correct. and to think i didn't even THINK of this after i JUST went through a stone passing not too long ago. now i feel so small.
kevin he is right this could be stone passing. is the pain on 1 side or across the whole lower back? if it is only on 1 side, it very well could be a stone man. thank you ebbits. that is very good man.

Thanks guys... I hope it isn't a stone. I'm 99% sure it isn't... as it is too low in the back and spans both sides. The pain even runs down my tailbone and into my left thigh.
The odd thing is, I have no idea what caused this. One day I noticed my back was somewhat sore... then day after day, it just got worse and worse. Then I started getting worried when I was unable to walk and pretty much be confined to bed. I feel like I'm out of the woods as I am able to now walk and function. You know things are A-OK when you can put your socks and shoes on. The Lord is certainly answering the prayers... so I thank everyone for that. Everyone's well wishes means a lot!

ok,ok....it sounds like a very badly pulled muscle from what oyu are describing kevin. right below the beltline i assume. yeah, i have done that quiet afew times, lol. glad you are on the mend pal. these things can happen with just a simple turn.
i remember the day my mother snapped her back. blew a disc really. she was beding over to pick up a clothes basket. i thought someone shot a .22 rifle. you could actually hear the "pop". she fell to her knees. we (brother and i, ages 10 and 11) got her up to her bed and she called dad. doctor visit, then in the hospital for surgery. but from what oyu are telling us, i do think it is a badly pulled muscle. more rest and heating pad will help oyu out. take it easy bud.
