I remember in 7th grade science class we had a bug collecting asignment. We all had mason jars with rubber bands and nail polish remover in the bottom and a piece of cardboard above that to put the bugs in to kill them without squashing them.

Of course the teacher told us not to sniff inside the jar. I guess every class has a Mallen, cause sure enough as soon as she said that the kid beside me opens the jar and sticks his nose in it. When he raised his head, his hair had stood up on end, his eyes were all wide and blood shot and his face had turned red. Well that won't enough for him so he takes a second wiff. The school nurse finally got there and tried to give him the smelling salt treatment. I was like, "Mamm... That what got him in that shape to begin with."
