Sorry Mont, I guess I mispoke. What I was trying to say in response to your statement was that I doubt the whites blame it on history as much as other cultures. I am not trying to say it is not that bad either. I believe it is that bad where you are, and in other regions it is that bad as well, but not always with the blacks.

certainly it's not always blacks, it's mexicans too. just kidding, I don't have a problem with a white, black, etc. guy who wants to be lazy and have nothing, just don't blame it on me and make me pay for it...that's all i'm saying.

according to my sources at the local schools there is a "change" going on right now. supposedly all the kids (black) are saying "it's our time now" and throwing the "O" hand sign up in everybodys face. the tension even caused the breakup of a friend of mine's son who was dating a black girl. i guess some good things are coming out of this.

LOL, sounds like it Lowrider. That's pitiful about the "O" thing. That goes back to earlier posts here, i bet the teachers can't do anything about it, but if white kids went around making "slave" or "n" comments they'd be expelled.

yes it is Doc. There's people that would say that there is a big difference between an "O" and an "N", but it's all racially based and should be treated the same. Especially if they are saying "it's [I]our[I] time now", that's pretty plain to see. I'd like see how the school handles it, hopefully they will be fair to all students.
