I have a twist on the turkey things that I decided to do and it was awesome.
I made a pie crust and threw in the turkey, stuffing, mashed potatos, gravy (that made it $$money$$) and some carrots and peas. Placed it in the oven and after it was baked, let me tell you, it was awesome. A twist on chicken pot pie. Dang! I feel like making that again. Those turkey sandwiches (the crust replaced the bread in the "sandwich") always rock but just like in my lure making, these strange ideas come to mind when I cook too. Didn't even know how to make a crust before that either. Doh!

Hamburger Helper gets a bad rap from lots of people but I love it! Cheeseburger Macaroni is my all time favorite. Stroganoff is good and Philly Cheesesteak is good as well. Any of the lasagna flavors are a safe bet

Speakin of turkey, a buddy of mine told me about something he saw on the food network (you know a guy likes to eat when he watches the food network).
Bake the turkey like you normally would but drape it with strips of bacon first. Takes on a little bacon flavor and self bastes with bacon grease! Your diet can't be much more balanced than that! Then again, if you fry it, the best way in Mallen's humble opinion, bacon doesn't work

For frito caserole you brown a couple pounds, maybe 3lbs of burger and make taco meat with it. Then in a caserole dish, I use a rectangle glass baking dish, you put down a layer of fritos, then a layer of taco meat, then spead a layer plain tomato sauce over the meat, then a layer of chedder cheese or mexican cheese, another layer of fritos and keep layering it like that till you run out of stuff or run out of dish. Cover it with alluminum foil. Don't put the top layer of cheese on till you bake it for 30 minutes at 350 degrees, then add a thick top layer of cheese and bake it without the foil until the cheese is all melted real good. Let it sit a few minutes before you cut into it.

Alrighty boys....I don't usually hand out my lip smackin good recipes, but i'll make an exception fer ya'll....lol.....Now,get yer cookin aprons on and head to the kitchen cause i'm fixin to lay the best dang mans meal on ya you've had in awhile....My version of "Dorito cassaroll"....Also called Taco cassaroll when used with corn chips.
************************************************** ************ 1-1.5lbs Cooked and drained ground beef 1pkg taco mix 1can black beans 1can sliced olives(black)--"this is optional, but I highly recommend it" 12-14oz Velvetta cheese--"you can use the Crumbles or just cut it up into cubes yourself" 1can Creme of Chicken soup--"fat free will work fine"...use the condensed kind 1can ROTEL brand Chili's and tomatoes--"regular version or spicey if you like a bit more kick"--add extra sliced jalapenos if your a real spicey food lover as I am! 1bag Doritos "Nacho cheese flavor" ************************************************** ************** 1. Cook ground beef, drain, and add 1/4 cup water and taco mix....simmer about 5 minutes. 2. In a seperate bowl mix the Soup, ROTEL and Black beans. 3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees....Pour the meat mixture into the bottom of a 11"X13" cassaroll dish(I use a glass Pyrex version)and then add a layer of Doritos, then layer on the soup mixture, and then about half your olives, followed by another layer of Doritos.....then sprinkle on the rest of the olives and layer the Velvetta cheese cubes or chunks(add some shredded mozzarella into the mix if you want) and bake in the oven for 30 minutes......Enjoy.
