As the year winds down, looking back, what have you learned?

I've learned a number of things, many from fishing with Flyrod. I've caught fish on a drop shot for the first time, and have gotten better with crankbaits. I've also learned the benefits of fishing the wind. It can be uncomfortable and difficult at times, but cranking a wind blown bank can really pay off. I've also learned a lot about boat control and positioning. And, FINALLY, I've learned not to get locked in on one particular bait or technique but to fish the conditions and try different things.
