i was watching on different ways to peg weights and of course they showed the toothpick, the rubber skirt thread (now you can buy them just for that purpose), and a slip bobber thing... you can also buy the Peter T tru-tungsten thing.....
All of a sudden BOOM: why not use a Split shot weight to hold down the bigger weight, all you would have to do is downsize your weight a little or just lose a really small (and really cheap) split shot. The only con i can think of is that it might damage the line like the toothpick. (but still its cheap) I also thought you could use the little rubber bands that the dentist give to kids with braces. You could stick it into the weight or wrap it around the line (i think there cheap b/c people at school just shoot them around since they come in packs of like 2000).... Also they come in different colors. If you think of a con or can add on go ahead. Just thought it would be great and cheap for people that peg alot. (i dont) ![]()
