Try 3-7lb catfish on 4lb line. Now talk about fun!

Iguess when I voted I didn't count other rods, but my bass ones. Two spinning, and 5 baitcasters. Between my dad and I, we have 5 musky rods too. I've got a little quantum Micro rod I use for bluegill (and catfish )

So maybe a few more than 4-7.

2 baitcast, 2 spinning. I have 2 Pflueger president baitcast, 1 on a medium action quantum rod, and one on a medium heavy BPS rod, and 2 Pflueger president spinning, both on BPS tourney series rods, one medium, and one medium heavy. Simple rig yet gets the job done. I also have a Berkely GlowStick for catfish. My parents on the other hand have about 9 walmart cheapies a piece, and get mad everytime I buy a new rod or reel.

myself and fishing partner carry 4 each. now if any of you who have way to many rod n reel combos wuld like to part with some of the ones that arent used anymore, i think we might be interested for a minimal fee, lol. spinning reels preferably.

maybe so, but it definitely is alot more convenient to have multiple rods, plus I feel that having dedicated rods that are specific to technique is important and will help catch more fish, eg, 7' m, m rod for cranks vs 7'9 xf H for pitching and flipping, vs. 7'2 spinning for dropshot.

I honestly believed I wouldn't need more than ten when I first posted on this thread, but I've changed my mind. Apparently the monkey bit me and it's become infected, and I will now need at least 15 fishing rods to fill all my fishing needs.

I have 9 on the boat and 10 more hanging in the garage.
I think I am going to turn into a tackle junkie because I keep looking at new stuff all of the time.
