I've used various braids through the years, the only one I use long term is Power Pro. I would like to try some 20-30 lb 832 but the PP is still going strong 2 years on the same reel....

I started out with suffix,then went to power pro still use it but am trying red cajin now as made in usa

I’ve been through spiderwire, power pro, pline, fire line and sufix performance braid. Almost stopped and stayed on power pro. But sufix performance braid is great smooth and round. Haven’t tried 832 yet but I will.

I will be testing power pro super 8..I like p.p. ,sufix performance braid , Fins Windtamer and PRT, Cortland master braid , and Jerry Brown Solid.I haven't tried Sunline FX2 but its on my list.

I don't know yet, I just try em out to see which will keep its color the most.

That's an interesting characteristic on which to solely pick a braid. Is this your main concern with braided lines? If so, may I ask why?

Spiderwire ultracast invisi-braid, casts well ,lasts forever,transluceny is better than other clear braids, may even be thinner than most but I dont know.

Curious, I hear alot of power pro lovers at this site,why? I'm not saying its not good but I"ve had alot of challenges casting it in any kind of breeze. Seems to catch the wind alot more than almost any braiid I've ever used, and I,ve tried alot of them! Casting a hollow frog in the wind is like planning a golf drive in the wind and it still seems to catch the wind and there's still a large curve in line when it lands. Not an expert just my opinion!

That's true of any line, or braided line when the wind is blowing and you're casting lightweight wind resistent baits.
For the money, I just find Power Pro to be dependable, readily available, last a long time and plenty sensitive. After it ages, it becomes very supple and easy to work with. When it fades it accepts camoflaging with magic markers very well. Maybe other braids fit that description as well, I have just settled on Power Pro and I am very content with it.

just put on some RipCord 15# after finally wearing out my Stren I had on for toooooo long. Still haven't wet the new stuff in the river I sure hope that the bargain price for the 400 yd wasnt reflective of the line. I yard casted it on the 5 rods and so far so good. played with it in the creek in the back yard and it seems to hold a knot well.

Most braids really don't get good until they start losing their color, IMO.
