That would be one long stick for Lizard to pop a gator. I think 20 yards is max distance he will allow a gator near him. Almost wondering if his sig is gonna change to include gators now.

You guys are cracking me up!!! But seriously, I was wondering how to fish a texas rigged worm? I know you can twitch it, tug it, slow work it, dead stick it, pull it up and let it fall but, it cant catch any fish. I tried for like 2 minutes but nothing. so how should I fish it? Oh, also I am going to fish this pond by my house its called lake erie so what should I use to catch a BIG bass?

Rig that worm texas style, with a 3/16th or 1/8th ounce bullet sinker, cast to the spot you want to fish, let it sink to the bottom, you'll see your line fall in the water and then stop...reel a few times slowly, stop, then lift your rod tip to about the noon postion, watch the line for a twitch or feel the line or in your rod a "tick"...
Once you have lifted the rod tip up and if nothing happens, lower it again and repeat the process....very basic info, theres tons of variations like shaking your rod tip, or just dragging the worm on the bottom, or skipping it up and down, or swimmingi it...the fish will tell you what they want, then after the first one you catch, you can imitate the location and presentation...99% of the time I throw it out, wait, then lift the rod tip slow, then reel down, then repeat.. oh, and don't quit after a few minutes, you ought to be able to do this technique all day. |

thats what ive been doing... something similar. let it sink, rod tip up and reel at the same time, then let it sink. wait a few seconds then repeat.
