Weird, not sure how I forgot to mention the weight. If I'm doing it right, 6.03 pounds is 0.675 (67/68%) of 11.2 pounds which is the Wisconsin state record. How'd you get you figure dean? Edit: It appears that typing into, Google "x percent of y" and getting "x percent of y = n", is not the way to go about doing this! lol

6.03 pounds divided by 11.2 pounds is 53.8%. Think about it.....if the state record was 10 pounds exactly, you'd be at 60.3%. But the record is more than 10 pounds, so your percentage has to be less than that. What calculations did you do to get 67%?

OK guys, here is my entry for Largemouth... Caught here early this morning on a KVD 1.5 at a local reservoir. I completley forgot to get a weight of her on the scale but I was in a hurry to get her back in the water since I caught her off of a bed. She was 7 lbs. 1 oz. on my Rapala scale. So... 113 oz. / 210 oz. = 53.81% for this largemouth. Now, until yesterday I completley forgot about this tournament we were having, and I did not send my payment into Mallen yet. So, I will leave it up to you guys, does this fish count in the contest? (since I was not paid up yet) I know I am on the roster, but I will leave it up to you guys. Mallen, I will get the money sent into you this week! Ryan

Caught this girl in 20+ ft of water at 11:30a along with several lesser fish on a 1oz Spro Little John DD. 7 lb 13oz =125 oz 125/258 = 48.44% Still not in the lead yet but I'm inching up and appears to be the heaviest fish entered so far I was by myself so I had to enlist the help of a poor old women sitting on a 5 gallon bucket(who watched the whole deal and was hoopin and hollerin like I had just made the 8 sec buzzer on a rank bull ) Anyway she wasn't the most tech savy person and couldn't fathom the zoom feature or even the concept of "hold still"....OH well what you gonna do?

Sorry I've been so slow to update this. Just like our Official Rooster, I've been so busy lately, I don't know which way to point my pecker! If you're still dressed in red, let's get those payments in. If I've missed anyone's fish, let me know!

I'm so sorry, pro reel! I haven't been on in quite some time. I just got your message. If you still want in, at this late date, I will certainly add you to the contest. We had originally posted a cut off date...but then again, adding a late entrant is no worse than people's names being in the contest who haven't paid right? If you still want in, hit me up and I'll send you the payment info

Well I was certainly hoping for a bigger smallie for this contest but it doesn't look like I'm going to get it since I'm running out of time before our smallie lakes have had water again. I know I've caught bigger ones this year but haven't been weighing them all until yesterday. The wife and I caught a bunch of really nice smallmouth for Kansas yesterday and I decided to weigh a couple of my biggest to at least put in an entry. Our state record is 6.88 (110) my fish was 3.10 (49) for a total of 44.5% |

That's a great looking Smallie, blue! Too bad I didn't get in this year since my best was 4lb 12oz, which is 59.4% of our 8.0 state record. Maybe next year. |
