How is it that Cassidya had a higher waiver order than me this week? He scored more points than me and is ranked higher. I say this because he apparently beat me to acquiring Colsten when WTL dropped him. I am calling BS on that.
If the waiver list was not setup to allow the lower scoring teams and lower rank teams to pick first, then it was done wrong it. |

I was looking to have a one two combination of Brees and Colston. The problem with a default setting of a waiver list only for players dropped and waiting to clear the waivers is that it constantly changes. I noticed that there is not a waiver period after the weekend. Usually there is a waiver period after the games to pick up players (typically it is Wednesday or Thursday). The reason this is done is to give those people who do not sit at their computers all day during the weekend a chance to pick up that backup player once they see the starting QB, RB, or whomever go down with an injury. No waiver list after the game and one for dropped players is just stupid.

FnG? My Math my be wrong at this time, but shouldn't you get over 500 before you talk about playing for anything?
On the waiver thing the only setting is how many days for the waiver. The variation in days only applies if you add and drop a player the same day. This would keep me from grabbing and dropping a bunch of players on Saturday and locking them out for the Sunday games. Waivers are first set up by reverse draft order. they are then adjusted each time someone makes a successful claim. If you really want Colston, throw a trade offer out there. http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/foo...otball-18.html

As far as smack talk....yes Cranky and FnG, this goes out to you.
I have read many statements like I blame the draft, I blame my WR, the stat guy screwed me, so and so cheated. Honestly, you should probably accept that the only person you can blame is the one who looks back at you from the mirror. I would say that you can list every excuse you want, but in the end, you just are not as good as Jim, WTL (who forgot he had a team for awhile), and myself. I am sure somewhere, there is a fantasy couch potato, or WBNA league where you might excel. It just appears that football is not your thing. On smack talk....come big or stay home. BTW...I sure hope I don't lose to Mojo this week, which is possible.

Exactly. I got my team as one of the top 2 or 3 in the league and I gave yall a 4 week head start. Those receivers I picked up off the waivers. My star, Tomlinson has been injured for weeks and I am still on a 4 or 5 game win streak.

After a go like that it would be pretty bad to lose to mojo , but you should be safe parker isn't goningto play and that will leave a big gap in his score .

With the morning games over, well all but 2, here is where we stand....
Bryce is leading FnG 78 to 69. Bryce has Rothlesberger, R Wayne, A Johnson, Vinateri, and Willis (D) to play. FnG has Slaton, C Johnson (RB), O Daniels, and Scobee to play. Cranky is leading Jim 134 to 118. Cranky has Who'sYour Mama, and Pittsburg D remaing. Jim has Gore and the Tenn Defense to play. I am up 130 to 56 in Bye week against MoJo. I am out of players, but MoJo has Manning, Hines Ward, Jones-Drew, Willie Parker (out hurt) and D Clark to go.

Well, I have one bit of advice, but I will wait until later to pass on this wisdom.
