Stand-up jig head
I would like to try to use some of the stand-up jig heads and some crawfish, someone told me they work well around here. But wasnt sure what weight to use or any color choices were best.
thanks mitch |

Mitch, I usually use 1/4 to 1/2 oz. depending on how deep I'm fishing. There are a lot of them out there, but ones I really like are a no-name brand from WalMart. They are usually in the hook section and look like this:
You can fish a number of baits on them-Yum crawbugs, Zoom crawfish, take your pick. I've found black works great for the jighead. For the soft plastics crawfish colors are a great place to start.
