Ky lake April 7th
While online stats say temp hasnt changed it has,lake is back up a tad 356 1/2 due to recent rain,Westerly bay had gar strolling along the banks and bass at the first weedline in 2 ft of water.
While not in large numbers did catch fish,mostly 12-14 all on a hart buzzbait,slow rolling it wake style,if run faster they often missed. Temp in that bay was above 60F Several larger bass missed earlier before I found the trick,and only 1 legal bass of 13 1/2 in because it was a spot(no size limit,but was released),full of eggs as well. But a day out is a day out |
