Default I hate Ice

I was leaving the house for work this morning and busted my a** after a brief encounter with a patch of ice , twisted my knee pretty good and ended uo with a sore back as well . Nothing a day at work couldn't fix . It will be fun to try to walk tomorrow .

Jim sorry to hear about your fall, I've always said that I would rather it happen to me instead of one of the kids or my wife. Milk it for all you can buddy.

I hear ya Jim. Hope your feeling better. I caught a small patch of ice on my front porch stoop last winter and fell down 6 cement steps. I really screwed up my left hand, and my back took a beating on the steps. My left hand hasn't been the same since. I suspect I broke something back then. I really hate winter.

Jim,I am with ya on hating the ice.I fell 3 times in the last few days.Getting fatter or something cause I am landing alot harder than I use to. My neck is a bit sore as my wrist took most of the punishment. We are getting a storm now. They are calling for 10" of snow by tomorrow. There ain't nothin like throwing a spinnerbait through new fluffy snow. P N J

We are prob getting the same storm you are it started snowing here around 1:30 and is going strong . I'll have to give the spinner in powder a shot. I could just see the neighbors and my wife's face already.

I hear you with that stupid ice storm last week jim. i somehow had no idea that it was coming. so i wake up monday morning and jump outta bed, get ready then i pick up my dog to bring him outside. go running out my back steps.... the second my foot hits the top step i realize its shiny, Man i went down HARD.. I grabbed my dog like a football so i didnt fall on him and break his back. needless to say 10 steps later i feel like i chipped my hip bone or something cause a week later it still hurts like hell..

ya know, i truly do feel or yu guys and gals up in our northern states. i mean...there is NO way in HADES i could EVER live up there i don't think. well if i HAD to i would, but not by choice. i hate winter, HATE it. but without it we wouldn't have as nice a spring and summer here a know. but i DO feel for ya'll up there. it may not seem cold to ya'll, but when i have to get out and work in 20 degree weather (outside), and it only warms up to around 45 or so. man i don't care WHO ya are that's cold. so i can't inmagine what it would be like to have to go out there and work outside in sub zero weather. all i can say take care of yourself and try to stay warm gang.
